Syntax
Description
The
value attribute works in conjunction with the name attribute to pass the
necessary parameter or variable information to the parent
object or applet element. According
to the HTML specifications, the value attribute
isn’t a required attribute (only name is required),
but it’s rare to see the name attribute specified
on its own.
Example
The value of this
"shape" parameter is "triangle":
<param name="shape" value="triangle"/>
Value
The value of the
value attribute very much depends on the
name of the parameter, so there’s no fixed list of
possible values.
