Syntax

marginheight="Height in pixels"

Description

This is a very rudimentary styling attribute that allows you to specify a height in pixels between the content and the top and bottom of the iframe. Note that you cannot set a different value for the top and bottom - one size fits all here.

Example

The iframe has margin(top and bottom) of 20 pixels applied:

<iframe src="iframe-content.html" height="200"
width="200" frameborder="1" marginheight="20">
<p>Your browser does not support iframes.
That kinda sucks, eh?</p>
</iframe>

Value

Height in pixels.

Every browser listed supports this attribute.

However, just because it’s supported it doesn’t mean you should use it! Applying a marginheight is not the best way to set styles like this - you are better off using Cascading Style Sheets to define how pages should look within a iframe (you also have the benefit of being able to set different values for a document’s top and bottom margins in CSS).
