align=" { left | center | right | justify } "

Example

The h2 below, identified as a “latest,” will align the content inside the h2 to the right (but as it’s identified with the id attribute, CSS could—and should—be used to set the alignment):

<h2 id="latest" align="right">Latest news on this site</h2>

Description

The align attribute affects the text content inside the h2, aligning it to the "left", "right", or "center", or setting it to "justify" on the page.

This attribute is deprecated. The correct method for aligning an h2 is to use the CSS text-align property.

Value

The accepted values for h2 are "left", "right", "center", and "justify".
