Syntax
Description
The align
attribute affects the text content inside the h1,
aligning it to the "left", "right",
or "center", or setting it to
"justify" on the page.
This attribute is
deprecated, so the correct method for aligning an h1 is
to use the CSS text-align
property.
Example
The h1 below,
identified as a "site-splash-page", will right-align
the content inside the h1 (but as it’s identified with
the id attribute, CSS could—and should—be used to
set the alignment):
<h1 id="site-splash-page" align="right">Our amazing range
of services</h1>
Value
The accepted values for
h1 are "left",
"right", "center", and
"justify".
