Example

The h1 below, identified as a "site-splash-page", will align the content inside the h1 to the right (but as it is identified with the id attribute, CSS could and should be used for setting the alignment):

Description

The align attribute affects the text content inside the h1, aligning it to the "left", "right", "center" or "justify".

This attribute is deprecated - the correct method for aligning a h1 is with CSS (using text-align).

Value

Accepted values are "left", "right", "center" or "justify".
