align (HTML attribute)
Example
The h1 below,
identified as a "site-splash-page", will align the
content inside the h1 to the right (but as it is
identified with the id attribute, CSS could and
should be used for setting the alignment):
<h1 id="site-splash-page" align="right">Our amazing range of services</h1>
Description
The align
attribute affects the text content inside the h1,
aligning it to the "left", "right",
"center" or "justify".
This
attribute is deprecated - the correct method for aligning a
h1 is with CSS (using
text-align).
Value
Accepted values are
"left", "right",
"center" or
"justify".
