noresize (HTML attribute)
Example
The header frame will not be resized using this markup:
<frameset rows="100,*" > <frame src="header.html" frameborder="1" noresize="noresize"/> <frame src="home.html" frameborder="0"/> </frameset>
Description
By default, an individual
frame in a frameset can be resized
according to the user’s needs. However, should the design warrant that a
given frame should remain locked down, for whatever
reason, you may use the noresize attribute to
enforce this.
The example HTML shows the XHTML-compliant
implementation (where the attribute noresize has a
matching attribute value of "noresize"). If you are
using an HTML 4.01 doctype, you may
express the noresize attribute as
follows:
<frame src="header.html" frameborder="1" noresize>
Value
"noresize"
only
